Iran is among the world’s top 10 countries in terms of beekeeping, honey bee colonies, and quality honey production. From ancient times, honey has been effective in the treatment of most illnesses. The most important characteristic of honey is its antibacterial feature. As honey is a food, it is supposed to create a good environment for the bacteria reproduction, but bacteria are killed by honey, because it contains antibiotics and diastase enzymes. This feature of honey used to be utilized to remove hands and feet calluses. The quality of Iranian natural honey is renown worldwide, which results from special climate and natural conditions of the country. Nowadays in some parts of the country, especially in southern areas as a result of haze, beekeeping production has decreased, but by making use of knowledge-based products, this problem shall be solved and honey production shall become a highly profitable business.
We have recently entered into the beekeeping products industry, and in this respect introduce to domestic market new and diverse products from Turkey. The new and advanced technology used in these products places them on a status separate from domestic products. Using these products results in decreasing the time spent and increasing the production.
